Where to Meet Scandinavian Women: Stockholm, Oslo or Copenhagen?

Scandinavian Women

Scandinavian women in Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen look quite similar. Attractive, with proportionally more blondes. Plus, they are sexually emancipated, and generally not shy nor prudish.

Moreover, the girls in Scandinavia tend to stay in shape much better than in the junk food nations. Thus, although in Cape Town I’m not into older girls (they’re not as health-aware and often become overweight with age), a lot of the older women in Scandinavia will cause you to turn your head and look twice. They go to the sauna to sweat, exercise, eat healthily, and lead active lives. In addition, since Scandinavia is quite safe, the women are free to walk and cycle wherever they want to go, which further helps them stay physically toned.

Another unusual observation is that Swedish girls enjoy wearing black dresses, even in the daytime. As a type of national dress, it forms a strong contrast with the blond hair, blue eyes and white snow in the winter.

Lastly, most Scandinavian women speak English along with their native tongues. There’s no need for extra language lessons, which you may find more useful in Eastern European cities or Latin America.

Thus which of these three cities is the best choice for seduction and game? Let’s start with nightgame.

Nightgame

Stockholm

Since Stockholm is larger, its nightlife is better (in theory). A well-known nightlife area is Stureplan. But face control is a problem in this city. However, face control is usually done under the guise of some guest list, which as a tourist you know nothing about (and would have a hard time getting onto). So if you can’t get into the clubs, then you simply do streetgame at night, which is decent in areas like Stureplan (at least in summer).

Another problem is the dress code at most of the clubs are quite formal. You don’t easily get inside without leather shoes, formal pants, and a nice shirt. Jeans, semi-formal shoes and t-shirts will leave you stranded outside in the icy cold winter weather. So if you’re a traveler, this is a serious constraint.

The Stockholm clubs also don’t easily let solo tourist travelers in. It’s best to go with a local wing who can talk in Swedish to the doorman. Gaming with local wings helped me sample a few good nightclubs around Stureplan that otherwise probably wouldn’t have let me in. Thus, the nightlife here is rightfully known as somewhat “stuck up“.

Copenhagen

In Copenhagen, the nightlife is very central. Simply by walking through central Copenhagen at night, you’ll stumble upon places to party. There are plenty of small quality bars where you can easily start conversations, drink and dance with a good variety of women. Also, some bars are better suited for those in their early 20s or late teens, while other bars are better for milf-hunting or a mixed crowd. There was no face control in this city. Plus, you can party while wearing jeans (smart casual clothes). And don’t worry too much about guest-lists.

To meet party girls while dancing the night away, go to Hornsleth Bar. Close to the Generator hostel, there were a few bars in Gothersgade street (including a Milf bar – you’ll notice the 40-year-old crowd once you get inside). This street is also where the pub crawl started.

Young students go to the Australian bar. There are a lot more clubs and bars in this area. My wing from the Generator enjoyed the small laid back Francis Pony bar, which has 2 floors, and a few cute girls, especially on the top floor.

An added benefit of Copenhagen is you can take the 1-hour train to Malmo (Sweden) to go party in a different country for the night.

Oslo

In Oslo, it was not easy to find nightlife during the week. But during the weekends, the best neighborhood for clubbing in Oslo is Youngstorget. You can start by checking out the Stroget alley, with a few decent bars and restaurants inside. When you leave Stroget, you’ll notice lines of people around midnight standing in front of the clubs at Youngstorget. These lines don’t necessarily take that long to get inside. The doormen simply check everyone’s IDs, along with a small sobriety check (“Are you feeling OK?”). I didn’t experience any face control and the dress code wasn’t strict (smart-casual will do). You can get into most of these clubs for free.

The main negative about Oslo’s nightlife is that everything closes at 3 am. The other disadvantage is the price of drinks. Otherwise, there is good potential.

So for tourists, the best nightlife is in Copenhagen. If I lived in Sweden, I’d figure out how to get into the larger clubs of Stockholm, along with the local wings, more formal clothing, while getting on the guestlists.

Daygame

Stockholm is a larger city and has more interesting neighborhoods to walk through and do some random approaches. The shopping streets are quite good for daygame. I did feel that apart from the shopping streets, like Drottninggatan (along with the shopping malls), daygame was average in other neighborhoods. Yet although its average it’s still better than most of Latin America (where women appear more indigenous) and the third world.

Central Oslo is very decent for daygame, and so is Copenhagen, especially in the shopping streets with the clothing retail chains. The bigger cities are usually best for daygame. Since Copenhagen is a little larger than Oslo, it edges out Oslo by a small margin. Most important is that as with Stockholm, both these cities have attractive Scandinavian women walking around wherever you go (plus working at the shops).

Tourist activities

Stockholm is the most touristic out of the three. Visit the scenic Old Town (Gamla Stan), where you can do a little daygame and take some photos. Next, check out the shopping area north of Gamla Stan, and the neighborhood to the south as well.

Oslo doesn’t have much to offer touristically. Spend a full day walking through the city (while doing some daygame). For example, check out the bohemian Grunerlokka neighbourhood or walk to the nude statues at Vigeland Park which are popular with tourists.

Copenhagen is slightly larger thus more interesting than Oslo, but still not as touristic as Stockholm. Walk through the center of town with appreciating the unique Danish Architecture next to the water canals. Also check out the commune of Christiana, where marijuana is openly sold.

Social and Self-development Meetups

Use the Meetup App to find English-language friendly meetups in Scandinavia.

Copenhagen

Live your legend: This is a meetup where you get mentored to have a legendary life centered around entrepreneurship. The founder tragically died in an avalanche but the legend lives on.

Orgasmic Meditation: This is only an intro talk. During actual orgasmic meditation, a girl shows up, takes her pants off, and lies in front of you. Now you massage her clitoris until she orgasms. Its supposed to be therapeutic to women. As interesting as it sounds, you’d have to pay a lot of money upfront for a course before you actually start “practising”. It could be a scam. If anything sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Stockholm

Comfort zone crusher is an interesting meetup where you do random exercises to push your comfort zone. For example, lie down on the ground for 1 minute in a crowded area. A lot of the social exercises will probably be too basic (if you already do cold approach seduction). But you could always make the challenges more difficult. After you complete the basic stuff, try to set your own challenges. You’ll be more motivated by the goals you choose yourself.

Oslo

Mundo lingo: This is a social language exchange meetup. It was not as good as the Buenos Aires Mundo Lingo, which was better attended by females. It’s free but the alcohol is expensive. Drop by if you’re looking for a decent social language meetup. Mundo Lingo seemed much better than New to Oslo where you seemingly sit down around a table the whole night.

One More Negative Factor: Cost of traveling

Oslo is simply way too expensive. It’s the most expensive city in the world. If your money goes further in Stockholm and Copenhagen, then it doesn’t make much sense to visit Oslo for more than a few days to “tick it off” your bucket list. Stockholm is not cheap either, but more affordable than Oslo’s hyper-inflated prices, such as minimum 10 euros for a beer.

Final Negative Factor

Oslo is an immigrant city (30% non-native), partially conquered and peacefully seized by Middle-Easterns and North Africans. Thus rape and crime rates are ever-increasing. In some neighborhoods, women will tell you they are afraid to walk at night. Similarly, in Stockholm, there are terrorist attacks and immigrant no-go zones. Mass immigration from the third world dilutes the authentic culture of these cities.

Conclusion

How much time to spend in Oslo, Copenhagen, and Stockholm?

As a digital nomad (and not only a tourist) I’d stay 10 days in Stockholm, sample the online dating, meet up with local wings and immerse in Swedish life. Then, a week in Copenhagen. It’s fun to visit, but still rather expensive and not really worth 2 weeks. And lastly, I’d spend 3 or 4 nights in Oslo (including one weekend to party in Youngstorget), but anything more is self-torture due to how expensive it is. It’s better to go on long stays to cheaper countries. For solely tourist purposes, 4 days is enough in Stockholm, while spending 3 days in Copenhagen, and 2 days in Oslo.

The Winner Is

Stockholm is the most worthwhile city to visit, out of these three. Copenhagen gets second place because it’s a picturesque city with the best nightgame. Oslo, the most expensive city in the world, deservedly gets third place.

Helsinki is another popular Scandinavian city, not mentioned in this post, because it deserves a post of its own, which you can find here.

An interesting dating app specifically in Scandinavia is Victoria Milan. Check out the smoking hot girls on their app. Simply be careful of suspicious profiles e.g. with only 1 photo. However, these profiles also exist on Tinder, and even Tinder has scams alongside the genuine and cute girls. Although they’re now based in Malta, Victoria Milan was originally created in Norway. Thus they have a large user base in Scandinavia. Register your free Victoria Milan profile here to get an even better idea of the single girls looking for love in these Scandinavian cities.
