The Nice Guy’s Guide to Meeting Women in Vitoria (Brazil)

I spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve inland, in Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte respectively. Thus I wanted to see some coastal life during January. I already experienced enough of Rio de Janeiro during April and I didn’t feel like going back there immediately. Thus, I decided to visit Vitoria in the state of Espirito Santo. Besides, some sources claimed Vitoria’s girls are very attractive. But are they correct?

Vitoria Women

Thus far Vitoria had the least attractive women in Brazil (to my own taste). The problem is that there are very few white girls in Vitoria. If you like indigenous girls, then you’ll have a good time. Otherwise, not.

However, if you don’t speak Portugues, don’t come here. English is very uncommon. Probably because it’s not really a touristic city. They only very rarely receive international visitors. The handful of white girls are more likely to speak some English. But demographics are more or less 98% brown girls.

I don’t think the girls in Vitoria are really much more difficult than in other Brazilian cities. But hot girls are simply very scarce in Vitoria. Especially during the daytime.

Vitoria Beaches

Vitoria felt like a shithole with a great sea view. It’s still more developed than most of Africa, but for a Brazilian city, there’s not much to see and do. Only 2% of women on the beach were hot. It’s not a great place to go to for beachgame. It’s simply an industrial beach port city without much to offer, apart from having sandy beaches.

I made an effort to check out different beaches. For example, Praia da Camburi is a less popular beach. On the other hand, Praia do Canto and Curva da Jurema are more popular, but also has maximum 2% hot girls.

Next, I asked my Airbnb host, where is the nice beach? He referred me to Praia Grande at Ilha do Boi. But it’s simply another boring small beach with nothing special whatsoever.

Vila Velha

Vila Velha is a separate city right next to Vitoria. It looks like exactly the same kind of thing as Vitoria. It’s definitely not any worse. My taxi driver even claimed that the women in Vila Velha are more educated than in Vitoria.

If you have a hard time deciding between staying in either of these two cities, then you don’t really have to choose. It’s quite easy to reach both cities with the highway across the lagoon. Vitoria is the popular choice though. On a Saturday, the beaches in Vila Velha didn’t look any better than in Vitoria. Nor any worse.

Daygame

Daygame in Vitoria is bad. Here and there in shopping malls, you may randomly stumble upon a cute girl with luck. But the gym is by far the best place to find hot women in this coastal city. Yet, with their bad English, good luck starting a conversation. If I lived there, I’d focus on Portuguese fluency, along with becoming a specialist in gym game.

I used to say that Belo Horizonte has the worst daygame in Brazil, but now its Vitoria.

Online Dating

Tinder was bad quality in Vitoria. Maybe only 5 to 10% of the girls are date-able. This is much lower than e.g. in Sao Paulo. Also, there isn’t a huge amount of women to swipe in this mid-sized city. Since girls in Vitoria are not as hot as elsewhere I’ve been in Brazil, even if a girl looks cute in her Tinder, it doesn’t mean she’ll be as hot when she shows up on the date.

Be careful and take note that the local mestiza women may expect you to pay at end of the date. For example, I went on a date with a woman who excused herself to the bathroom at the exact moment when we had to pay the bill. So… I waited for her to return before I paid, so she could pay her own drink.

Check out the Brazilian girls on Victoria Milan. This site is mostly active in Sao Paolo and Rio. But there’s a handful of profiles dispersed in other cities e.g. Vitoria as well.

Is Vitoria a Second or Third Tier City?

According to Roosh, a second-tier city is less touristic than a first-tier city (First tier = Rio, Buenos Aires, or Amsterdam). But still, it’s a fun place where you can spend a few months living like a local, away from the tourist traps and scams of 1st tier cities. Roosh didn’t mention third-tier cities. But my own definition of 3rd tier would be: A place where you can experience the local way of living, with almost nothing else to offer.

Instead of a second-tier city, I see Vitoria more as a third tier city. Kinda like Tarija in Bolivia or Salta in Argentina. It’s in the middle of no-mans-land, but on the way to better places, like Rio de Janeiro or Belo Horizonte. I’d say Cordoba is second-tier in Argentina, not Salta. While Belo Horizonte in Brazil is also second-tier.

In Vitoria, you can experience the local way of living if this is your only aim. Or spend an afternoon enjoying the great sea views. But there is not really any further incentive to even visit this place. Thus it’s third tier.

Vitoria Nightlife

I checked out Beb’s Bar Vitoria. There’s a R$20 cover charge. It had a very young crowd on a Friday night (age range +- 18 to 22). There were quite a few attractive girls (surprisingly), but it’s not that awesome place to party if you’re not early 20s. The reason there are so many young students in this inner-city bar is that the universities are located in the inner city. Not next to the beach – where you’d wanna stay if you’re a tourist.

The “Bermuda Triangle” area close to the bridge to Camburi had seated game areas and bars (Rua Joao da Cruz meets Rua Joaquim Lirio). Don’t expect much. Girls are older than 21, attractive, but it was almost only good for social circle game. Woods, Wanted bar, and Garagem club (all in this area) were closed – probably for the holidays. Further proving that Vitoria is not a holiday destination.

Thus, to conclude, the nightlife may be less disappointing, with more attractive women, during the rest of the year. Also check out the Rua da Lama (Mud Street) social area, which my taxi driver mentioned after I already left. It may be a good nightlife option.

Accommodation in Vitoria

For accommodation, you can rent on Airbnb. Stay as close as possible to the beach. There were a few decent private room options, but I didn’t find any cheap private apartment options. The host, in my private room Airbnb, told me I can bring girls home if I pay R$50 extra the next day (for the extra “guest”).

Avoid the slums of the city center (especially close to the bus station) as there’s a lot of poverty and crime. I used 99 Taxi to get from the bus station to my accommodation in Camburi neighborhood where I stayed the first 3 days.

Go to the gym at e.g. Academia Orbita for 20 Reals. Plus, take note that Vitoria’s most famous dish is Moqueca fish stew. It’s nothing special – simply white fish in a tomato and onion stew.

Guarapari

Guarapari is a beach-town about one hour away from Vitoria. My conclusion: What a dump. Some taxi drivers talked this place up. But I neglected the fact that it’s only the native indigenous people that actually party there. Don’t waste more than half a day in Guarapari (although I reckon you should skip it entirely).

Locals from Vitoria go to Guarapari to relax. Especially since Vitoria isn’t a touristic beach and vacation city. But Guarapari was even worse.

Tinder was low quality. Quality daygame is almost non-existent. Maybe there is some nightlife where attractive girls show up weekends (e.g. potentially at Mex Cocktail Bar or at the Siribeira Yacht Club). But a coastal city without good beachgame simply isn’t worth it. I felt like the only white man in Guarapari. Besides, apart from being more for the indigenous crowd, Guarapari is also more for families, e.g. moms with daughters.

To reach Guarapari, there are buses every hour leaving from Vitoria bus station. Or you could share a 99 taxi with a friend, and split the fare (+- R$85 in total).

Conclusion

Give Vitoria a miss, unless you have friends there and you speak decent Portuguese. I don’t get the guys who say they came here and stayed two months. When there are so many better places in Latin America, why here? Yet, they must have their reasons. Maybe they simply want to experience a third world coastal city. There is no high-quality “Ipanema”-type Beach in Vitoria. At least none that I could find after an extensive week-long search.

The only positives of my trip to Vitoria were the cheap fresh coconut water, the great sea view of the bridge after doing some hiking up to the viewpoint (“Mirante do Convento“). And lastly, seeing a new city, which I was very curious about beforehand, but turned out disappointing.

What was your experience while visiting Vitoria in Espirito Santo? Do you have any other tips for guys traveling in Brazil? Post your advice or questions in the comments section below!

  1. I can realize on your text how racist and xenophobic you are. I was born and raised in Vitória, allowing me to say that I have never known any “indigenous people” there. Our women are really pretty. Differently from you, who is a little bit ugly, as I can see on your posted picture (maybe that’s why you had all those difficulties).
Make yourself a favor, learn another language, maybe you become less stupid.
Ohh and make brazilians a favor: NEVER come back to Brasil, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!

    • Yeah well it’s always the white guy who’s racist right? No other race can ever be racist. It’s simply not possible… Why? Because it’s not Politically Correct. Get this though: Nice Guy Seduction is Politically Incorrect. Because we value speaking the truth and being ethical more than being part of some political correct media swamp that needs to be drained.
Check out this video of Muhammad Ali:

Is he racist for saying he wants a black wife? No, he is a proud man, a good philosopher, and an awesome guy.

But you are so quick to call a white guy racist. You can start by throwing the “racist” insult first at Muhammad Ali (if you wanna be stupid).

There’s nothing wrong with being indigenous. I’m indigenous European, so what, who cares, get over whatever race you are.

Are you suggesting that Portuguese speakers are stupid? What an insult to your people.

You got it wrong there in the last sentence. 55% of Brazil voted Politically incorrect in the 2018 election. 45% voted politically correct. You were one of them.

Thus it’s safe to say that I’m 55% welcome in Brazil, but you? You are only 45% welcome in your own country.

2022 election was rigged, so I’m still welcome, even with the thief, Lula, in control of your country!

    • It means that for this racist there are no women of other ethnicities and other non-European nationalities who are conservative and decent.

      • Lol.. stop talking nonsense. There are many non-white people who are also conservative and decent. I’d definitely rather vote for a black conservative politician, instead of a white liberal marxist politician (such as Joe Biden, Boris Johnson, Macron, Trudeau, etc).

But hey, I’m so racist, right? Lol. Believe what you want.

          • It’s OK, but don’t post like 20 comments on the same day. Its great that you can read the articles with a translation app. But stick to 1 or 2 comments at a time, as it comes across as spam otherwise. For example, duplicating the same comment more than once, and dumping 20 comments at a time.

  2. I have friends in Vitoria and I know the place very well.
I really think you didn’t go to the right places. 2% white girls you definitely went wrong.
The places i went i say 98% white girls (if u like to say like that)
Girls are not like trees waiting for u on the streets. You must know where to find them.
May be you need some local friends to guide you through.

    • I have friends like you in South Africa. When they see a colored or “mestiza” girl, they think she’s “white”..

Well, because she’s not black, they think she must be white.

Unless the white girls all left the city in January, which seems unlikely, I still feel the same way.

  4. We meet again, friend. Thank you so much for sharing your experience on Vitoria. I already had inhibitons about this place but you proved me right.
I like how you are so accurate and to the point. You dont beat around the bush and dont flinch in calling a spade a spade.
I have just one question. Is there any place in Brazil which has good day game as well ? Cause I am reading your articles but can’t find a single place where you said that day game might be good. And I really loved it when you said “Vitoria has worst day game than Bello Horizonte” Lol.
Don’t listen to haters here. They are jealous cause you speak the truth and are living The Life 🙂

    • Haha.. you are correct. They hate because of jealousy.

Curitiba has a lot of cute girls outside. Here’s the Curitiba post: https://www.niceguyseduction.com/curitiba-brazil/

The only problem in Curitiba is that the girls want you to speak Portuguese in the daytime. Then they are more likely to give their numbers. Otherwise they think you are simply a tourist passing through for a few days. And they’ll feel like they’re wasting time dating a foreigner who leaves again soon.

For daygame, go to Rio de Janeiro in the Summer season. Then do some beachgame. Plus, walk on the promenades in Copacabana and Ipanema, next to the sand. Also, when you walk in the streets of these neighborhoods, you will see a few tourist girls who you should approach and number-close. The tourist girls love meeting tourist guys. However, the local girls are sometimes a little fed up with tourists. You can still try though.

One of my favorite daygame successes in Brazil was with a cute tourist girl who I approached in the streets of Copacabana. She was walking to her hotel, and I was walking to my rental apartment. I number-closed and things flowed naturally from there. I was her perfect “holiday romance”. With local girls, obviously, it is a different scenario.

  5. I absolutely enjoyed to read what guy said about his victoria and guarapari trip. I was there in 2018 and felt the same. The girls are “like indigenous” and the ones that are attractive were “very busy” all the time. I did enjoy Belo Horizonte and my next target will be Rio. I’m just waiting April to get a couple of months off work to fly back to Brazil.
Thank you Guy for this incredible website full of useful information! I really like how you’re straight to the point. This is a absolute “must read” website before every single man go to Brazil.

Yeah there are much better cities to visit than Vitoria. This is why few people know Vitoria. Because in general nobody is “encouraging” travelers to go there. Still, I am glad to have visited Espirito Santo, otherwise I would always have wondered “what it is like?”.

Also check out the ebook on Amazon for more info about the coastal life stretching from Santos (Sao Paulo), to Rio de Janeiro. Plus other cities in general.

  6. Well, after read what you wrote, I have some things to say.
I’m from Vitória and here dodn’t have 98% of indigenous woman.
Why foreign and Brazilians adorable Vitória and you not?
Vitória is not a developed touristy, as you said and I agree with you, although it have changed year after year. Vitória has a lot of things to know, but it’s to families. It’s not your profile!
    Vitória is not
your stereotype of Brazil. It’s a calm city and don’t have noise. Vitória is not your profile about Brazil!
You wanted to now easy woman and you wanted a excited city, but you got frustrated.
Vitória is one of the most developed city in Brazil. The social data prove it!
